This upscale contemporary Cajun cottage sits atop what is known as the “Coteau Ridge” in Grand Coteau, LA. The tranquil setting gives the feeling of being on the edge of a remote Louisiana habitat while being located only five minutes from I-49, and about eight minutes from I-10. It is perfectly located to easily explore all of South Louisiana. An EV supercharger is a few minutes away near the stores mentioned below.

Once you return from your adventures you can enjoy the often spectacular sunsets and the arrival of the egrets that roost for the night (from about mid-July thru late February) in the cypress trees on the private lake. Although Coteau Lake Lodgings is not a bed and breakfast, we have everything you need for preparing gourmet meals.

Nearby conveniences include a variety of great restaurants, multiple supermarkets including a Super Walmart, and a shopping area with an Academy, Super Target, Aldi, and many more major retailers.

The cottage is a whole house on ten acres of property. The four-acre lake is stocked with bass, bream, sacalait (crappie), and catfish. Fishing is welcome and you can keep the fish if you like.

Both bedrooms enjoy a great view of the Lake and wildlife, and both have doors directly onto the spacious back porch with a dining table for six. Coming soon will be a fire pit seating area also overlooking the same great view.

Upon entering there is a large Great Room with a large smart TV, a full kitchen, two large sofas, and a dining table for eight. The two bedrooms have a total of three very comfortable queen beds and smart TVs. The utility room houses a full-size washer, dryer, and refrigerator/freezer.
